Imagine my surprise when out for a walk I see Dr David Livingstone's home and gardens.  Along the bank of the River Clyde, it has wonderful paths and gardens.  A sculpture depicting him being attacked by a lion he'd shot is central.  (The lion had killed villagers) 

The property is being worked on to become an educational center for environmental awareness and a cultural bridge.  

It's good to be out walking as it's making me stronger.  One has to walk to transport all over.  Folks here are more fit in some ways than in the US.  People would faint at the idea of walking a half-mile to go to the shops back home!
